Respect Life MeetingThe Curé of Ars Respect Life Committee is hosting a guest speaker. Brandy Bartlett from KVC organization will be discussing starting a Foster care ministry at Curé. If you are interested in assisting foster kids and families, please consider attending the meeting at 7:00 pm in the Father Burak room on May 9th. All are invited to attend. If you are a current Foster family that would benefit from such a ministry, please contact Kristin McArthur at 816.719.4350

Members of the parish’s Respect Life Committee strive to raise awareness, educate, engage, and inspire our community to build a culture that promotes and defends the dignity of all.
Following the USCCB’s Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities, and guidance from the Archdiocesan Office of ProLife Ministries, we coordinate parish events and volunteer opportunities for prayer, public information and education, pastoral care, and public policy.
Members are currently involved in:- planning Respect Life Month activities, Children’s Rose Procession, Life Chain and 40 Days for Life
- fundraising and volunteering with pregnancy support organizations such as Gabriel Project KC, Advice & Aid Pregnancy Center, and St. Mary’s Home for Mothers
- promoting awareness and support of foster care families and organizations
